Questions people ask

What is the ReAct pattern for AI agents?

ReAct stands for reason and act. The model thinks about what to do, calls a tool, observes the result, and repeats until it can answer. It is the basic agent loop. When an interviewer mentions ReAct, they mean that loop, and you can explain it as think, act, observe, repeat.

Is ReAct the same as the agent loop I write by hand?

Yes, in practice. A hand-written loop that calls the model with tools, runs what it asks for and feeds the results back is ReAct. Prebuilt helpers such as LangGraph's createReactAgent run the same loop for you. Knowing the plain version means the prebuilt one holds no surprises.
