How do I turn my notes into a deck?
Three steps from your notes to your first card.
Three steps. I counted twice.
- Step 01
Add your material
Upload a PDF or a text file, or paste your notes. A free account reads about 20 pages per deck.
- Step 02
AI builds your deck
You get concept cards, flashcards, practice questions, a step-by-step diagram and 20-minute missions. Quiz questions ask you to predict the answer, from a short situation or a code snippet when your notes contain code.
- Step 03
Study it your way
Flip, recall, predict and explain. Spaced repetition brings each flashcard back on the day it's due.

Questions school students ask
Short answers. The full FAQ covers plans, payments and your data.
Is StudyVisually free for students?
Yes. Every study mode, the ready-made subjects and your progress are free, and you can start without an account or a card. A free account adds 5 AI decks a month from your own notes and 3 AI gradings or explanations in total. If you need more, Basic costs $4 a month.
How old do I need to be?
StudyVisually is for learners aged 13 and up. You can study straight away without an account. If you want your progress saved to an account, signing in needs an email address and a first name for Tok's hello. We don't ask for your school, your phone number or a password.
Can I use my teacher's handouts?
Yes, if the text can be copied. Upload a PDF or a text file, or paste the notes in. A free account reads about 20 pages per deck. Handouts that are photos of pages need Premium, which copies the text off each page first.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It runs in your phone's browser, so there is nothing to install. Progress saves in that browser. Sign in with the same email on your phone and your laptop and your progress follows you, so a streak you start on the bus keeps going at your desk.
20 minutes a day is enough.
