StudyVisually for university students
StudyVisually turns lecture slides, readings and textbook chapters into study decks with AI. Each part gets concept cards, flashcards, a step-by-step diagram and practice questions. Spaced repetition (FSRS) schedules your reviews, so you revise what you're about to forget. Studying is free, and a free account makes 5 AI decks a month.

Plan for an examWhat can I study?
Any subject you have notes for: bring a PDF, a text file or pasted notes and AI makes the deck. A ready-made subject links to its free lessons.
- Anatomy
- Statistics
- Economics
- Python
- Philosophy
How can I use it at university?
Make a deck after each lecture and the week before exams becomes review.
Keep up after every lecture
Make a deck from the slides while the lecture is fresh. Reviews stay short because each card only comes back when it's due.
Follow how a process runs
Step through the Krebs cycle or a sorting algorithm one move at a time and watch what changes at each step.
Check you can explain it
Type your answer to an open question and AI tells you what you covered and what you missed. The grade becomes your rating for that question.
How do I turn my notes into a deck?
Three steps from your notes to your first card.
Three steps. I counted twice.
- Step 01
Add your material
Upload a PDF or a text file, or paste your notes. A free account reads about 20 pages per deck.
- Step 02
AI builds your deck
You get concept cards, flashcards, practice questions, a step-by-step diagram and 20-minute missions. Quiz questions ask you to predict the answer, from a short situation or a code snippet when your notes contain code.
- Step 03
Study it your way
Flip, recall, predict and explain. Spaced repetition brings each flashcard back on the day it's due.

Questions university students ask
Short answers. The full FAQ covers plans, payments and your data.
Can I turn a whole textbook chapter into flashcards?
Yes. Upload the chapter as a PDF or paste the text. Free and Basic read about 20 pages per deck, Premium about 50 pages. AI splits long material into parts, like chapters, with cards for each part. Scanned pages, where the text is a photo, need Premium.
What does spaced repetition do?
It spaces your reviews out. Each flashcard has its own schedule, set by FSRS, an open-source scheduler. Rate a card Easy and it comes back days or weeks later. Miss it and it returns within minutes. Your daily reviews stay short and go to the cards you're closest to forgetting.
Who can see my decks?
Only you. Decks belong to your account. To build a deck, the text you upload is sent to OpenAI, which writes the cards, and the finished deck is saved to your account. Nobody else can study it unless you are an approved teacher and share it with your class by link.
Can I fix the cards AI makes?
Yes. Open the deck and change the text of any card, or remove cards you don't need. AI can get details wrong, so check cards against your course material. Decks made on a paid plan stay yours to study after you move to Free, but you can no longer edit them.
